The mode of operation of the perforating tools that covers the full press width is characteristic of this type of press. Thus up to 8 rows of holes can be simultaneously punched with each stroke. This and the high stroke rate of the presses (up to 800 strokes/min, depending on model size) ensure high productivity and profitability. Both coils and metal sheets can be used as the starting materials.
The presses are distinguished by the especially high torsional rigidity of their press frames that considerably increases the service lives of the perforating tools. BRÜCK open-width perforating presses are built on a modular pattern. This allows them to be retrofitted with added extras (e.g. active holding-down clamp) years after delivery or the tool cross-section to be modified with a minimum of fitting work.
Leading manufacturers all over the world use our presses for manufacturing all kinds of products such as ceiling panels, loudspeaker grilles, filter housings etc. As BRÜCK not only designs and builds presses but all other components of a open width perforating press plant, we are in a position to offer solutions for such specialised tasks as the production of triangular ceiling panels, for example. |
